The Journey from Gift to Calling

OBE, which stands for Only Basketball Elite, was born out of a lifelong passion for basketball, but it’s about so much more than just the game. From the age of 6, I unknowingly began the journey that would define who I am today. Basketball wasn’t just a sport I played; it was the foundation for the values and skills I would carry throughout my life. What started as a hobby quickly became a calling, and after years of running from it, I’ve finally accepted this path with pride—knowing it was a gift from God.

As a Basketball Developmental Specialist, I focus on teaching the core fundamentals of the game. But OBE is not just about helping athletes improve their jump shots or footwork—it’s about helping them grow in every aspect of life. At OBE, we believe that basketball is a powerful tool for developing character, honesty, responsibility, and excellence—on and off the court.

My journey began simply. After attending basketball camps as a kid, I would come home and teach my friends everything I’d learned, whether they missed out on camp or just wanted to know how I did what I did on the court. This turned into an ongoing habit of sharing knowledge throughout junior high, high school, and even college, without realizing that it was preparing me for my purpose today.

At OBE, we continue that tradition. We’re here to pass on more than just skills—we’re here to build leaders, both in the game and in life. Every training session, every camp, and every piece of apparel we design is crafted to remind you that you are elite. When you wear OBE or step onto the court with us, you’re joining a community that strives for greatness in all things, showing the world that being elite is about character before skill.
